Cattrall was born 21 August 1956. She is an actress from the United Kingdom.
She is a British actor and actress, as well as a Canadian actor. She is most
famous for her role in Sex and the City's Samantha Jones (1998-2004), in which
she received five Emmy Awards as well as four Golden Globe Award nominations.
She also received the 2002 Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Artistress.
She reprised her role in the movies Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City
2 (2010). Cattrall's debut film was Rosebud (1975) and she went on to play
different roles on television. In the 1980s, she gained to fame with films like
Ticket to Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984) and Hold-Up (1985). She was also
in City Limits (1985), Big Trouble in Little China(86), Mannequin (1987),
Masquerade (1888), Midnight Crossing (1988) and The Return of the Musketeers
(1989). Tribute (1980), Porky's(1981), Turk 182 (85) and Baby Geniuses(1999)
were some of her appearances. Other credits in her filmography include The
Bonfire of the Vanities (1990), Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country (1991),
Split Second (1992), Above Suspicion (1995) and 15 Minutes (2001), Crossroads
(2002), Ice Princess (2005), My Boy Jack (2007), The Ghost Writer (2010), and
Meet Monica Velour (2010).
