Kari Matchett Kari Matchett, a Canadian actor, is recognized for her performances in films such as 'Apartment Hunting 'Men with Brooms', and  The Tree of Life. Born and raised in Spalding, Saskatchewan, she later relocated to Alberta, Canada, from where she graduated high school. She became interested in acting as a pastime in her teens. She attended the Montreal's National Theatre School and then transferred to the Moscow Theatre School for further training. In 1996, she appeared as an supporting role in the Canadian series 'The Rez. In the year 1996, she was an actor in the Canadian series called "The Rez.' She made her film debut in the late 1990s, with the film titled Papertrail. Then, she appeared in films like "Men with Brooms, "Cypher," and many more. She also had supporting roles in series such as "A Nero Wolfe Mystery" and "Blue Murder." The actress was also seen in films until the early 2000s. However the films she appeared in were less than her TV ones. The actress also played the character of Colleen Blessed in the 1998 Canadian drama series 'Power Play. The series ran 2 seasons and 26 episode and garnered the highest praise from critics and commercials. She was nominated for a 'Gemini Award' for her role in the series. Jude Lyon Matchett, her son was born to her in June 2013. But she didn't disclose the father's name. According to some sources, the father of her boy is her former boyfriend. Kari Matchett met T.W. Peacocke began dating her in the mid-1990s. They got married in the month of October 1998. The marriage ended in discord and the couple broke up in 2006.
