Kelly was raised in South Carolina with her two older sisters, Kaitlyn (and Carolyn) and her mother, Carolyn. But, Kelly hasn't shared any details about her parents like their names or the professions they have. As a kid, she loved playing baseball with her father. Kelly went to Clemson University in South Carolina after she graduated from high school. She was awarded an associate's degree in the field of youth Development Leadership leader. Then, she enrolled at the University of Miami, where she received a master's diploma in Broadcast Journalism. Kelly was a member of the ACC Digital Network during her time in the program. She also worked as an assistant for production. When she received an offer for a job, Kelly joined the ACC Digital Networks. She began working as a sports-related news reporter as well as conducting interviews during the show "ACC Kickoff", aired on Saturdays. From 2012 to 2013, she was employed by the network for 2 years. At the time, she also contributed to "ACC NOW". Following her time at ACC Digital Network ended, she became a part of Fox Sports Florida as a sideline reporter, and thanks to her tireless efforts, she was recruited by Fox Sports Sun, covering the Tampa Bay Rays, Orlando Magic and Tampa Bay Lightning franchises, covering news and reports concerning the particular teams.
