Tracy Spiridakos
Tracy Spiridakos is a Canadian actress from Canada. She was a part of the Teletoon children's comedy series Majority Rules as Becky Richards. from 2009-2010. She was on the screen from 2009 until in the year 2010. She also starred as Annika Johnson on the A&E television show Bates Motel. Spiridakos was a part of the cast as Detective Hailey Upton in the A&E television drama Bates Motel. as Detective Hailey Upton, Spiridakos is the main character. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents, and restaurant proprietors George and Anastasia Spiridakos She has two brothers. Following her birth, her family moved to Skala, Greece, south of Sparta. They returned to Canada in 1992. She is strongly connected to her Greek roots and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting at the age of junior high school, and later went to the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg. Spiridakos moved to Winnipeg in 2007 to pursue acting. She got her first role on Supernatural within a few weeks. She continued to appear on the world of television, including walk-on roles on Bionic Woman, The L Word, Hellcats, and Psych. Spiridakos was a part of the TV movie Goblin as well as the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also appeared on Being Human, as Brynn McLean as the werewolf. In 2009, the actress was awarded her first role as a starring character in Majority Rules! Canada, where she played 15-year old Becky Richards. She made her debut in the feature film world in the year 2011 by starring in Rise of the Planet of the Apes which she also directed the low-budget MichaelGreenspan-directed thriller, Kill for Me, with her co-stars Donal Logue and Katie Cassidy. Spiridakos played Sammi in Rags which was a Nickelodeon original movie. The character of Charlotte Matheson as a survivalist living in a dystopian future civilisation, was her role on the NBC television show Revolution. She auditioned for the role during her first pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos produced the pilot in Atlanta and also filmed the pilot season in Wilmington, North Carolina. She was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Actress on television for her performance in the initial season but was beaten out by Fringe's Anna Torv. The series' second season was recorded in Austin, Texas.
