Elizabeth Leigh Vassey
Elizabeth Leigh Vassey (born August 9, 1972) is an American actress. She is known for her performances as Emily Ann Sago, Captain Liberty, in All My Children and in The Tick. Wendy Simms as Wendy Simms in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2001, Wendy Beaumont, in Nikki & Nora in Nikki & Nora. Vassey was the teen Emily Ann Sago in All My Children between 1988 and 1991. She was a recurring character on the television series Tru Calling, as Dr. Carrie Allen. She has also appeared in a number of episodes and seasons of Two and a Half Men. Vassey was Wendy Simms, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's recurring character from 2005 until 2010. Vassey began appearing in the opening credits of the show's CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as a regular cast member and was then promoted to a permanent part in the tenth series. Entertainment Weekly reported that Vassey wouldn't be returning for the eleventh season. The actress appeared in one episode during that season.Vassey was a guest on Joss Whedon's web-based musical, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along blog and was referred to as "Fury Leika". Vassey was married to David Emmerichs who is a camera operator. In 2002, Vassey founded Neurosis to T(ee) that sells slogan-covered T-shirts specifically for women. The slogans poke fun at women's worries and anxieties. They usually refer to relationships.
